It was not completely correct! I've seen ST goes unstable in one tank to stable in another tank. Bottom line, they're still datnoid, which is all capable of display different color from being in different environment.T1KARMANN;4950268; said:Looks like IT the middle bar and colour
A true ST wouldn't go unstable even if you took it our the tank and kicked it around the floor which is why people want true ST because they always stay stable no matter what
It's still a very nice fish and I would buy no matter what it is as long as the price was right

T1KARMANN;4941859; said:Right I read in this thread that mike at h20 brought 40 of the ST look a likes
He says he THINKS they are real and he's going to grow them out to see
But without dissing mike they are not rays and how often do we ever see him in the tiger/dat part of this forum

Let him hear it Mike!csx4236;4950736; said:Ok here we go again, HOW OFTEN DO YOU EVER SEE ME IN THE tiger/dat forum? lol come on man are you really going here again? Just cause I dont have the time of day or care to post in that forum why would that effect my knowledge of fish?
I have owned, collected and sold more large ST then just about anyone I know in the US except for the old school guys who use to import them back on in the day. If someone wants a ST beside myself I dont know any other store or vendor who even has any and I own 8 pieces up to 20 myself.

What make you guys THE Expert to say that there is no True Pulcher in Vietnam, prove me wrong...
nomad;4949120; said:there is no such thing as "VT"...if it is, I would love to find out the scientific name for it.
If calling a 3 bar indo, vietnamese "pulcher" helps you sleep better at night that's fine, but as far as I'm concerned, being a "new/different " variant, I need to hear it from a reputable source in order to believe it, such as magazine, scientific article, etc.
..and I don't need to prove you wrong, quite the opposite...you have to back up your statement with something else other than plain words....you can start by telling me what is the scientific name of the vietnamese "pulcher"![]()
