Pics to come soon.

I am currently finishing up hand feeding a baby Sun Conure. Anyone else out there a bird fanatic? My little guy is just weening, and getting louder by the day. Of course his neighbor is much louder.

always wanted a sun conure. Too pricey for me though. I've kept parrotlets though. Cant wait to see the pictures.

Parakeets, my wife has 6 of em. You can hear them chirping in all my videos.:irked: Cool little birds tho...:D

i have a umbrella cockatoo and african gray... i heard sun conures are not only beautiful but smart and fun...

I have always wanted one but my wife doesn't like birds, she says they are too noisy. I had parrots growing up and loved how personalble and intelligent they were.

One thing about parrots of all kinds ...is that they need your committment... for a long long time... when they love and bond with you... they are committed to you 100% and if they are not handled by other people you can become their obsession.. which is unhealthy for both of you.. so while the bird is young.. pass it around to all family members.. so it interacts with all... you can be the master... but they need to know that others are important in their life as well... this makes for a stable bird.. one that won't pluck his feathers out just because your not around... the bond they make with you is the strongest bond i have seen in our domestic pets.. but remember..parrots are not domesticated to that degree.. they are still wild.. so early training is important.. it is sad to me how many birds end up a true nut case and take years to rehabilitate{if that is possible} because they loved thier owner too much..to the point that they actually bonded with the person like a soul mate....

I cant wait to see some pictures of your new baby! Suns are gorgeous and can be such clowns they are a very entertaining parrot.

You said that perfectly liz! I always hate it when I see birds in classifieds that have behavior issues that just get passed from home to home because no one knows what to do with them.
