Lookin good man!

Thanks a bunch Fleshy!!

I've been increasing the time that the MH is on about a half hour a day. I'm up to about two and a half hours now. Seems most everything is getting used to it pretty good. I have a bright green flowerpot that isn't too happy, but it came out about a third of what I'm used to today. All in good time. I am also using API's tap water filter to make up my own water now as well. I tested it with a digital meter and it produces 0ppm water. Better than the RO water I had been buying to make my mix up in. The little bit of red slime issue I had is completely gone :)

This is great news. Keep testing. Sooner or later, membranes wear out. Willing to bet that the lfs where you get your water isnt testing their output from their RODI...hence the ppms of whatever you dont want in the water.

Reef octo's are good skimmers. Glad to see that this is making progress in the right direction!

Reef Octo has been running for 4 days now. Micro bubbles are diminishing and the froth is building. Took a couple pics to show size comparison and what this looks like in operation. I've heard/read good things. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Been a little while since I've chimed in, but finally today I got a 30g sump running. Nice to get all the equipment out of the tank and stashed away. :)
