The mega fish formula is not as readily accepted by my rays (as massivore) but they'll eat it. It comes to $12 per lb or so... A bit cheaper. NLS is a great brand and should definitely be considered when choosing your pellet food.
 
Sturgeon pellets, massivore, carnivore, hikari gold, worms, mussel, whitebait, cockle, king prawns and normal prawns. Thinking about trying some green stuffs.

Hikari sturgeon has the same in it as massivore and carnivore they are just different sizes sturgeon is half the price of carnivore and massivore the trick is to mix them all up in one tub

I did used to use earth worm pellets but the rays were not that keen

Thanks for the info on the hikari sturgeon, T1. Will save me a lot from buying carnivore now.
 
I mix in a tub;
H.Cichlid gold, H Massivore, H sturgeon, and alternative sturgeon pellet ( from orchard fisheries).
A four pellet mix!
Each kg mix last roughly 6-8 weeks

Yeah, it gets expensive.

What I meant by "green stuffs" is something like spirulina...I have seen a few posts about rays eating plants and my female rasps alage off rocks much like a catfish, she leaves teach marks. Anyone else feeding something vegetable based?

Did look at shipping the big 2.2lb bags over from the US but was only saving about £5 after paying shipping cost so really not worth it, that's why I started to use the hikari sturgeon.
