Worms are to addictive I have had rays feeding on pellets stop feeding on pellets for 2 weeks after a feed of worms

If you want to feed spiralina then get some meal worms feed them on spiralina flake the feed the worms to the rays I feed my meal worms spiralina and apple the rays love them but are only lucky if they get 2 per week as they are just for my aro but the rays fight for any the aro misses

Good idea on feeding the superworms spirulina flakes and apples. I believe SW are my rays' fave food. I feed the worms carrots and misc pellets and they live in oatmeal bedding. Usually buy 1000 per month to feed aro and rays.

Aquaman told me to always feed pellets before worms, they MUST eat the pellets to get the treat but my rays get worms only once per week and they actually eat pellets within an hour after.

My rays are lucky to get a superworm or two if my aro misses them. A couple of them beg for worms by climbing over the top of the tank and I stick them in their mouths. Pretty funny stuff actually. But, massivore is the staple food for them all.

My pair of rays only eat nightcrawlers and sometimes market shrimp but only if I mix the worm guts with the shrimp. I tried feeding hikari pellets soaked in worm guts but they won't even touch it and it's super messy. Canadian Nightcrawlers isn't that expensive. I buy them wholesale at $100.00 CAD for 1000 of them and it lasts 2 months of food for them. Also these worms are huge 12"-14" long and as thick as a pencil.
