Baramundi Question

hey all i have just been given a barra and can not find any info on them on google..

just wondering if any one can help with their diet, water temp. just anything that can help.

first of all do you know the size they get too? (6 foot/180cm). diet can be random stuff. earth worms,meat, fish blood worms crickets, live fish,flakes pellets. temp 20-28 Celcius.heres a few links:

can be kept in fresh,brackish and marine. new reference/ record. now 2m Max length works out at around 2yards 7-8". i would imagine that it was a aquarium raised induvidual.

about how big will they top out in a 7' tank

I'm willing to bet on average you'll see more like 4ft or so max esp in the aquaria, I have yet to dig up a pic of an actual 6ft barramundi let alone enough pics to prove they're plentiful at that size.

agreed that 4foot is average to be caught.

about how big will they top out in a 7' tank

dont even try if u cant house for life then dont bother.
