Basement Build (300+ Gallon)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That room looks great regardless if you didn't build the monster tank. You look young, and you got your entire life, so no need to rush into it. Are you a gamer? Poker player? Investor? Stock broker? I ask because only a select few-including me:)- have office set ups like that.

I run a music label and work during the week for an online music download store... (sound engineer / electronic music producer by trade)
Play a lot of games too hehehe (hence the big screen and pc)... but mainly the desk space is for music production... still have to move my synthesisers, drum machines, mixing desk and equipment rack in somewhere hehe

I had to bring my wife down to look at page 9 of this topic.

We both find it hard to believe that the room that started out in such a mess could be turned around and now be so great!

It shows not just a lot of work, but a guy would also have to have a lot of faith in himself to attempt this project.

Good job!

your gonna do all that music making in a room with fish?

yeah man, the fish dont mind... the floor is solid concrete, so very little vibration in comparison to when they were on a wooden floor upstairs ;)
They used to music... besides when im mixing a track down, its at very low levels.. i dont really play music as loud as i used to years ago.

The only issue is that the glass isnt great for the sound properties of the room... they will reflect sound... but i guess its the price i have to pay to have my fish in the room with me ;)

soo are there plans for the 300 still in the works???
