Basement Build (300+ Gallon)

Well a small update... we used this grey roofing bitumen to seal the blue plastic plastic tanking to the walls... its outdoor bitumen and seriously strong stuff... completely gassed myself with this!!!

The smell is still so strong in that room that its even permeated through the walls to the 3rd floor upstairs!!! The smell in that room today ( A week later) is so strong that it burns the eyes!!!

Dont use this stuff indoors hehe (shouldve read the tin!!!)

I will stay clear of this room till that smell has subsided as I cant afford to lose any more brain cells :P
 
This is going to look GREAT, I love your 55 gal, and Oscars.
 
Ok, the chemical smell in the basement is still bad!!! so not doing much in that room just yet... i walk in and get dizzy in about 5 minutes... thought Id share some more 55gallon tank pics in the mean time as you all seem to love the feeesh :)

Quite amazing how theyve grown... this is an old pic of oscar when he was so small it took him about half an hour to eat an earthworm :P

yeah they definately need the extra space that the new tank'll give em.

I just went to the london aquarium today and saw how big those aro's can get!!!
That one was seriously overweight though :D
