lets see winter time i like running lipless jerkbaits (strike king), footballhead jigs, with a pork trailer real slow with 20 lb test) jerk baits early spring then buzz bait early spring
then summer time mostly plastice floating worms along weed beds, fin-s, and shad type bait with darting motio,, gary yamomoto/ senko, bandit crankbaits, yo zuri poppers, strike king spinner baits, chatter baits have worked out nicely for me and the drop shot rig as well alot of favorite depending on circumstances!

Buzz bait inthe a.m. then a spinnerbait. I started using a spinnerbait now when I redfish..

Im getting the itch...hard to believe but winter is winding down. Best time to catch a BIG LMB is pre-spawn females in mid to late feb and early march farther north.

For those hogs chunk a carolina rigged fry around points and entry ways to spawing sites and fish SLOW! The big girls are the ones that spawn first and in the next week or two they should start stageing up in a prespawn pattern.

I'm a Top water Type of Guy, but I love fishing Lilly Pads. So my first lure of choice is always a weedless scum frog, then a Popper and lastly a Buzz bait. My largest freshwater Bass to date was 12.2 on a Horney Toad and Power Pro.

i like using topwater frogs mouses just fun stuff like that
