I completely agree with that. I unfortunately (or fortunately depends on how you look at it) did not have the internet when I was their age and younger. I spent most of my time at the library or fish club meetings learning from others and taking their advice. However when some kid comes on here asking for advice on a certain species and several experienced advanced aquarists give them great advice and they go against it. It really irritates me and many others that I have talked to when they make a post the following week that the fish died for whatever reason. Normally they blame everything else other than their own mistake. I don't think we have to worry too much though.... school is about to start and we can go back to enjoying this forum until next summer.

Lol, I go one MFK everyday after school all day  But I didn't hurt nobody!!!:nilly: :nilly: :nilly:

i think that mfk should actually have a small annual fee opposed to an age limit. $10-20 a year. It'd eliminate a lot of people who don't take this site seriously

Wisdom comes with age. So when you are young you have "less" wisdom = ignorance. You are really saying the same thing. You lose your ignorance through experience and seeking knowledge. The former you can't force or rush- it takes time, the latter you have more control over, but it still takes time to gain and comprehend new info. Also, ignorance can be divided into two categories: willing and unwilling. Ignorance borne of a lack of experience can't be held against someone, but it is what it is.

I really don't get what you are trying to prove, it sounds to me like you are the one being ignorant at the moment.

Sure some wisdom comes with age, but some people acquire it faster than others. I know TONS of adults who are extremely irresponsible and full of ignorance, so saying that age is the limiting factor is just silly.

Obviously you are just stereotyping children and saying that most of them are stupid; that just isn't the case. I'm sure there are children that are smarter than you are, I will at least admit that some people who are younger than I are smarter than me. I really can't understand why you believe so strongly that knowledge and common sense is based on age, it just isn't...

I have been keeping fish on my own for about 6 years now. I have more experience than some people, that's just how it works. Compared to some people on this website that is very little, but compared to others that is a lot.

What I am trying to say is, don't be so thick skulled, and at least try to read a book farther than the first chapter.

That would never happen. MFK wouldn't be what it is now if that existed.

i think peeps should buy the monster tank/pond rather then collect tanks, save you money

I collect tanks. That being said I only purchase used tanks that I can get for next to nothing prices. I plan on building a 3000-4000 gal coldwater tank in my garage sometime in the future, and am in the process of building a few small ponds that fall into one another in my front yard, BUT I love the fact that I can watch at least 2 tanks in every room of my house. They might not all be monster tanks but my betta, my platties, and my guppies hardly need a monster tank to be relaxing to watch.
