Beamswork LED's

I love mine. When I first got it I wasn't sure if I liked how dim it was but its actually pretty bright. Not sure on how long it will last but it will do for now. Will probly do a DIY LED fixture next

Hope mine lasts! I was really excited to see it had moonlights (big selling point for me because it's LEDs and saves me money)
 
You will like them. Should have said the guy I work with has 2 on his 300 gallon and they are 2 years old right now. He's the reason I got mine

I have a standard 180g and I use 2 x 24" and 2 x 48" to get 2 solid rows of lights down the length of my tank. I've had them since February sitting on top of the glass (with legs). So far so good. The moon lights are REALLY bright I find. I only use 1 x 48" for moonlighting.

I did have a problem with one of my AQ110s leaking and the water dripped through a maze of obstacles (over the back of the AQ110, down about 6" of power cable, onto a bannister, down 2' of bannister, and then happened to drip on the socket directly.... FML) I managed to get a replacement cable from a local electronics store which made the light work again though :)

It's great how this thread is turning out. Mine have been on for over 2 months. All LED's are still working, and I still love them. Problems are going to occur, but as long a they aren't terribly common I still think these lights are an awesome value.
 
I'm thinking about picking up the 12" LED and putting it on a 36". I'm going to have it raised up at least 6-8", you guys think I will get good coverage with the sides of the tank still dark? Or should I go for the 24"?

Raising it up will definitely help the coverage, needless to say. It depends what type of coverage you're looking for. I personally would say a 12" would not be quite dim, and a 24" would be a better choice unless you want the sides to be quite dark. Be sure to get the freshwater series either way, the reef ones are spotlights almost.
