Beamswork LED's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have been running the 48" for a couple of months on my wild discus tank (48x24x24), and so far so good. discus enjoy the lower light. I just wish it had two switches. even tho I have a lot of surface aggitation there is no shimmer effect. the light is hung about 8" above the water. all in all, for the price, I'm happy.

I have 2x48" on my 220 hung 12" off the water and they shimmer like crazy, espicially the moonlights!

Well folks ironically enough, the lights outlasted my tank. In case you missed my other thread, my 220 exploded. Both led lights are still going strong though. Who would have thunk it?

my 2 3ft freshwater beamworks are awsome still ! Just got the reef brights 3 ft for my 35 gallon reef tank ! Alot better then the 2 t5s i had on it ! The Reef brights are amazing looking too ! again love the moon light feature !

None of the corals are out, I have hammers, frog spawn, meat coral, xyenia, green tree with a yellow tank, fire clown, ocelarus clown, lawnmower blenny, and a few more to come.

I have a 72" 120 gallon tank. Would people recommend two 24" or 2 36" lights?

Depends how bright you want it. Either will cover well, 2 36" would be best imo
