Beamswork LED's

So I have three of these Beamworks lights. A 24" on my 54g column (30x18x24) which light up nicely and am very happy with. Then I have two 36" ones on my 210g (72x24x29) which I am not super happy with. Why because one is visibly brighter than the other. I have switched side and transformers and they are not the same. I will live with it because of the savings in electrical cost since they replaced T5 HO fixtures.

Were they visably different from the beginning? Or did one dull and fade over time?

Yep right out of the box they both are different. Most people do not notice, but I see my tanks all the time so I spot it right away. They have been running now for about a week and a half and still the same.

You are right. They offered me a replacement and the 2nd one arrived safely. I got mixed feelings about their packaging but Beamswork LED is great for the money.

I was looking at getting the 48" beamworks freshwater bright ones, just wondering if anyone has tried or seen a guide for rewiring the light and adding second power cord so you can run the white and blue LEDS on seperate timers.

I found them really not that bright. I loved them, held up created the nice water effect of shimmering light, but VERY directional. I switched to a 4ft 2 tube t8 and it lights my tank better. Now I have a 4 ft 4 tube t8 and lets say.... its bright lol.

SO MUCH RAGE!!!!!!!!!!
I've been excited about this LED and I decided to order one for my 20G long cichlids tank. The Ebay seller is TopDogSellers. The box has a hole punctured, LED housing broke off a big piece, acrylic guard got crack all over. WTF?? They did not even ship with a box and proper cushioning. Wow.

I work in shipping and you would be surprised how badly the shipping companies thrash stuff sometimes. Not always the vendors fault.

Here is a 24" freshwater fixture on my 56g column. The tank is a bit of a challenge in that it is 30" x 18" x 24". But the light had no problems. Please note this picture was of the tank newly set up, not cycled and new sand thus the cloudiness, it has now cleared up and looks even better.
