Who else sells this exact one? 72" Beamswork Hi-lumen LED

because I feel the same about aquatraders but like that light

whats the difference between the 6500 and the 10k? Sorry, new to LED's.

whats the difference between the 6500 and the 10k? Sorry, new to LED's.

It's a measurement of the temperature or rather, the color/wavelength of the light.
6500 kelvin is a more yellowish light preferred by plants and 10, 000 kelvin is a bit more bluish white and more often used for corals.

If you dont have plants or corals, its really just preference. I like 6500k more because to me it looks more like sunshine and brings out the red in my fish. 10k seems to enhance the bluish hues in fish

I started buying these a few years ago. Some are 3 years old now and I've noticed on a few that the entire setup is dull, not as bright as they used to be, one light has 3-5 LED's out and two lights had the power go bad. I'm actually selling all of them and making a DIY setup.

I'm curious, did everyone here that had led failure have lids I'm their tank or was it open?

Pree, thanks!

Mine was on a closed lid tank (glass tops).

Ok have question about led by beamswork

looking for light for new african cichlids tank. Originally I was going to go with 72" fixture 3 watt 54 bulbs led. Then read this thread and looking around found the 72" .5 watt led light 168 bulbs. Can some one help me out with which is a better setup 3watt LEDs or .5watt LEDs. Looking for fairly bright tank both offer 10000k color with blue lights also. Just not sure what the difference is or which the better way to go. Looking to get the, on ebay topdogsellers. Thanks for the help

Ive been racking my brain for a good led solution for my 90g. Im looking at a beams work 48" singlebright 6500k. Do you think this is bright enough to shimmer effect my water? Considering the depth of the 90g.

Its an African cichlid tank with no plants. Lower lumens are acceptable. Just looking to cut on power and replacing bulbs twice a year.

Really interested In the shimmer effects

Also not trying to get off topic but is this comparable to the Marineland product? If so I can buy one locally for a similar price. Just not sure what to do

Can someone recommend which fixture to use for a 180g freshwater tank? I haven't fully decided between doing a cichlid tank, or large community tank but there's a bunch of different one's and I'm a little unsure of which one to go with? I'd prefer to get one 72" fixture and I want to make sure the tank will get good coverage front to back being 24" wide.

These are both a little higher priced but have more LEDs:

This one is cheaper with less LEDs:
