just did the first dosage of epsom salts.
i used 1 tbsp per every 5 gallons. i used a little bit more than needed...i had enough salts in a bag i had leftover here at home for about 170 gallons, around 20 gallons more than needed. so i just used it up.
will buy another bag and continue treatment.
should i do it daily? every second day??

You only need to add more when you perform a water change, and base what you add on the amount of water you replace.
ok, i will be doing probably around a 45ish gallon water change tomorrow so i will go from there.
i also got rid of a pair of tinfoil barbs. tank seems calmer already

Sounds good. You've got a great looking beani & hopefully his gastrointestinal upset will be a mild case & short lived.
Had a good sign this morning before work.
The Beani was chasing around and biting the big Pleco.
Havnt tried feeding him yet. Wanna get the water changed first. Should I wait a couple more days before I try feeding??? Or should I make an attempt tomorrow??

Personally I would wait another 48 hrs, then try a "few" epsom soaked pellets. If he eats, then continue to feed the epsom soaked pellets for another 3-5 days. Just go easy on the feeding once he gets his appetite back.

hes swimming around alot more now. looks like hes getting his energy back.
did closer to 50% water change and added 1 tbsp of epsom salts per 5 gallons, and used 80 gallons worth.
should i do another large water change in 2 days then add more salt? or should i add a little salt daily? what are the steps i should be following from here?

i may have to do the same thing your doing as i just lost my 2nd beani juvenile today. i have 2 left
