Beani or Grammode?

Where has everybody gotten their grammodes and islantums from?

Would you believe LFS? TBH i didn't know i had an Istlanum until after it died, the sign on the tank said Something else. Names on tank at the fish store said - Salvini, Blue Acara.

My Grammodes was bought at a store by my work lol got it after my interview. First time i'd seen Grammodes in a lfs out here. So just bought it.

Wow, that sucks man. I'm looking for all of them locally, hopefully I can find at least one of them.

My grammodes and istlanums came from Rapps. I got my male istlanum from Rapps back when he had a small batch from a pair he had, just before the male killed the female (Fall 2007 I think).

Fishfarm is out right now. Said he has a guy that breeds them, but no fry right now. Rapps has grammodes he said, but I'm waiting for a reply about Islantums.

I don't think you will like a Grammode over a Midas. A Midas makes a great wet pet with personality.

In my case, my 8" male grammodes is MUCH more dangerous to my health than my 14"+ midas. The midas is very outgoing, but is relatively slow when trying to catch my arm/hand/fingers, the grammodes is like a bolt of lightning when he attacks. I have the bite marks to prove it!

And Darthodo, kudos on the istlanum, he's a BEAST. Kinda makes me wonder what mine would look like if he hadn't banged himself to death

Fortunately mine doesn't bang too much. My trimac, dovii, and midas bang. Actually the grammodes bangs a little too. The istlanum just follows me around.

Yeah I have 50 + that I'm growing out. Some are close to an inch now.
