Not impossible, but takes some practice. Penal bulges http://www.dachiu.com/sexing.html is your best way, but unless you've done it a few times, you might end up purchasing a male when you wanted a female. Especially on young animals.

Any advantages to having one over the other like aggressiveness? I would like to get a male.

My opinion is that males tend to be a little more flamboyant. They are bigger and "spinier". Other than that, no real advantage. I love my little female. My male annoys the hell out of me with his jumping all over the place, and scratching up the Plexiglas. But he does look a litter better, I suppose.

And definitely provide UVB, without it they cannot see in color. Same with iguanas. Better feeding response with UVB.

Obviously metabolizing the calcium is a plus also. :)

Id hate to not see color. Maybe they feel the same way.

I could take a couple tomorrow after I go to my classes, right now I feel drained and do not have any saved to the laptop.
Tiled 4X2X2. I cover it with newsprint though because i got tired of wiping turds. They are ridiculously messy. Plexiglas sliding "doors" UVB and a heat lamp. I will post them tomorrow afternoon. Or Saturday, if I stay out on Friday. Today. Tonight.

Looks like a regular beardie to me. The other lizard is a baby Savannah monitor

Certain lighting will slightly change the colour, the
beardie is actually grey/brown
