maybe put it back the way it was and add some driftwood and stuff if you want change because no offence but BB looks crap

No offence taken, all opinions r most welcome.

T. maintenance is MUCH easier though. Must be gettin lazy, (I only do one 40% WC /week).

Strange though, I thought the tigers would freak out, but they look the same as before imo.

For some reason I think my fish are unhappy with a bare bottom. They'll constantly swim with there mouth dragging on the bottom of the tank. I'm assuming its from them seeing there reflection.

I know what you mean. I thought that they were always looking for a way to get out.

change it back
The bare tanks remind me of tanks in some stores, very basic temporary housing for the fish untill they are sold.

Another vote for before. I could understand that it is easier to clean and have heard that substrate can acculumate bioload, but what are the reasons you chose to go bear. The fish look great, by the way.

Thanks janzal.gone bear tank cause sand kept geting sucked in my filters. I raised
the intakes to compensate but as result, loads of fish crap left on substrate and not making it into filters., and waste breakdown become less effective.

Never tried it and wanted a
Change, really, it's like a pit stop, before I add blacksand. But that won't me for few months.

BEFORE!!!!! i personally hate tanks w/o backgrounds, it looks so ugly and messy. barebottom looks cool in certain setups, but no backgrounds is a no-no :nono:

agree

A step in the wrong direction, IMO

I too really like a bb tank. I would add a background though. Cleans up the look of the tank a lot. Black sand looks really good as well. But bb is just soo much easier to clean. Nice tigers and Im really diggin the 7 line front. HOw fast did he grow and how aggressive is he? I want some to put in my tank.
