woke this morning and it was dead not sure if it was killed or just died

what kind of tankmates did it have? any diseases or injury symptoms?

it was with a pike cichlid , a saum , a texas cichlid , some giant dianos , some pitcus cats and a common pleco

those are some tough customers to put it in with, especially the pike, which probably would've tried eating it soon

it was bigger then the pike and nothing was bothering it

are you sure? The first 3 fish listed were still more aggressive than it.

what did the body look like any scrapes, bites, missing fins ?

if u look in the pics thats how it looked from the pics it look like it was already scraped up did not see that

I just saw some of these for the first time at my LFS. is it just me or does the tail look bloody in those pics?

it looks bloody and that right after i took it out the bag , so it probably was like that at the fish store but i did not see it
