Best gun for home defense?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Shotgun all the way for home defense. My father just got a AR-15 model 22. After seeing it I plan on buying one when I get the money too.

Machine gun
I know you are probably joking but if a person is allowed to have one then it definitely would be effective if not overkill as well as messy.

good locks and a well trained dog:popcorn:

Hard to argue with that.Someone must really want to get to you and yours if he does not turn away at the sound of snarling, barking dogs. The dog will usually go off before the bogey even touches the surface of the house structure.

yep nothing will deter an a-@#$% quicker than a big ,trained ,loyal ,canine freind:popcorn:

Handgun I say a glock if its a long gun then ar-15.

Not sure about the crooks you guys have but around me their young kids that are dope sick, hardly ever have guns and if they did I'm sure they would sell them for drugs.

After the tragic events this month why would you leave a gun loaded without a lock? Someone breaks in ur house and your not home you just gave them a usable loaded weapon not to mention friends, kids and visitors would have access to it...smart, not! Every gun should be locked or in a safe imo.

No, in this town the crooks come a little more equipped than in your area I guess, and home invasions are on the rise here.
