Best Large Cichlid for 135 gallon

I have fed many different pellets to mine with no problems. She stays on a diet of blackworm pellets, veggie pellets, shrimp pellets, and spirulina wafers. Shes crazy about the spirulina wafers.

Mine will spit the pellets out sometimes, but this seems to be an indication that she is displeased with me for rearranging or cleaning the tank, adjusting the temperature, or switching her to another tank among other reasons.

Right now mine are going crazy for some 1mm blackworm pellets that I have. Not so crazy about the nls. I've got some nls algae pellets too that I may try. My hets love those.
 
Well the white one has went all white. No longer the little black dot on his head. I'm not sure what that means or if he/she will turn again. The largest one is also getting some interesting coloration in his/her fins. Lots of white is showing. Sorry for the crappy pics

The peeling stage is so interesting. So many possibilities. Out of my 10 midas only one seems to look like it will be creamsicle, the other nine likely solid orange. Also very high percentage looking to be male. My buddy said it was just a scoop of the net when he got the fry so no rhyme or reason. Im still very curious what yours will be like since papa had a very distinctive look.

Short video of the babies plus i put the red devil from petsmart in the tank today. He's being grumpy and hiding a lot. I separated him from the rest for the little guys' safety. It seems their colors are constantly changing. Some are getting darker while some have a ton of white all over them all of a sudden. I'm guessing we'll continue to see them change over the next few months. We'll see how they turn out

They are looking great! The Petsmart Red Devil doesn’t look that much bigger. I would probably just raise him out with the others.
 
Anyone ever consider an old school colorful cheap collection: Texas pair, half dozen salvini and a grip bright red jewels?
 
My 10 midas ranged in size from 1/2” to 2 1/2” and they did fine together. But then my goal was multiple amphs for the 300 so I was looking for them to be socialized. My first round of rehomes was also to remove those that did not play well with others. I put them together at an early stage to see who got along.
