did he deny shrimp at first? and did u just buy it then give it to him or take the head or other **** off?
I actualy bought the bags of little precooked cocktail shrimp. He took them right away. He eats about 3-4 shrimp and whatever leftover cichlid food he can find.
k im putting fish off for a little because i dont have enough room for them right now. i am in the process of ordering my turtles but my bullhead will be my next fish for sure! i would get him now but i only have my 30 gallon growout with my little 3" spotted pictus cat and he would probably be dinner after a few days. lol
Mine actulay lived for a while with two 6in spotted pictus cats. I accidently overdosed the tank and killed half my fish but the bullheads and a few cichlids survived. Yeah, mine lives in a 125 gallon right now, but a 30 gallon would last maybe a year if you bought a small one.
yea that might work...but ill order him this month probably and ill be sad if he eats my pictus. but lets hope he doesnt.
