best place to buy live rock???????

I ordered the base rock today, on eBay.
I probably won't get it until next week, what should I do. Besides, I am using a snowflake and 2 groupers with the live rock (already in there) to cycle the tank. What should I do with the base rock when it gets here, sometime next week? Please help
 
how long have the fish been in the tank?
 
oh ok.
there may be a little setback in the tim that your tank will be fully cycled. groupers are a fairly hardy sort of fish so i think they'll be OK. i just don't know why you decided to cycle with them. aren't they expensive?
 
Yes they are expensive but I have been a customer of the pet store for a long time now. I have bought many different exotic animals from them, spending thousands of dollars. So I don't pay sticker price for any of the fish. I used these fish for cycling my tank because, this is what they tell me to use at my local pet store. I have been asking them for guidance, until I found you and the rest of the people on this site. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying it will be okay to put in the base rock next week when I get it? Thank youagain for your patience
 
it should be find. if you do frequent water changes or test and change as nessicary. the new growth of bacteria will delay the cycling of your tank by about a week but other than thet there should be no problems.
