Get a Sen for sure, they come out a lot to swim around and explore. Also I love my Delhezi's, one of the most beautiful imo... I

Yeah... If I can't get a Del, I think a Sen would be my next choice.

Delhezis are definately one of the best looking... To me.

I uploaded this pic for another thread for CA/SA cichlids, so I figured I might as well post it here too. Taken a few days ago, and my most recent pic of this tank:

I hung up with the girl that works at the LPS I mentioned earlier a little while ago...

She said she is able to get 3 Senegalus, and/or 1 Delhezi @ 8-10".

After an hour or so contemplating, I reached the conclusion that a 8-10" fish with my under 3" Severum might not be too good of an idea...

So I ordered the 3 Sens. :headbang2

They require a down payment of half, which is perfect, and she said she would call me Wednesday, and let me what shape they turned up in, and if all is well, I can pick them up on Thursday... I'm pretty excited.

3 isn't going overboard is it? I know they usually stick together, and don't mind piling up on each other. Considering they usually won't get over 12", a 3 foot, 18 inch wide tank should work well... right? I'm starting to get nervous. Reassure me.

I'll do 25% WCs every other day if necessary...

I want it bad... Especially at that size. My severum wouldn't last too long, I don't think though. :grinno:

The sens will be awesome, though... I can't wait.

Cool. I have an airstone that my BGK is very fond of, so... lol

Honestly, would 2 be more reasonable, or can I get away with 3? I just want to be confident it will work. I can call back, and change my mind... But I don't want to unless I have to.

*tries not to sound annoying*

i'd say 3 if your filtration is good

The tank is overfiltered, for sure. My water get's changed over 6x an hour. That being said, I am only running one filter.

I'll be sure to do either 1/8 WCs every day, or 1/4 every two days... Just to be safe.

Thanks everyone, again. All of you have been extremely helpful. :)

edit: ... I may be able to pull off getting a small canister... Ugh... I need to get a job again. LMAO
