Best reaction to your monsters......?

Its really a good feeling when someone appreciates the beauty of monsters!
My best reaction was last christmas when family relatives and friends spent their eve here.
Its that 60 seconds of complete silence just after they went down to the basement.. Then i was pounded with questions of all sort!!

Had another good reaction yesterday..... my mother-in law was round for Mothers Day. When she saw the tank she said she had no interest in fish or fish tanks. She then spent the next two hours asking qustions about the tank and its inhabitants......

my friends and family arent really interested in my fish.
but one day my friend nigel came over and i let him feed my aro.

When my girlfriend's friends come over for a visit they usually give the quick glance in the tank and they're done with it for the night. But when our roomate's boyfriend comes over he turns the light on and checks my guys and girl out for a few minutes then asks me some questions about them. It seems that the guys love the fish because they're big and unusual (for a non fish keeper) and the girls are pretty impartial, like cars or videogames pretty much. Girls like things that are cuddly, guys like fish that swallow other fish. Haha
Some people thinks i'm a freak ahahah. But usually they like my aquariums and ask some questions about it. I don't give a damn about what they think 
Thats hilarious haha. So true, when I got my tank setup my girl friend wanted to get some guppies and a frog, some cute fish. I said I want something big, ugly, mean and eats fish like the ones you like.
My Oscars are only 5-7" but people think they are massive. I am just getting started with this MFK'ing, but I can feel the addiction in my bones. I already want a bigger tank with bigger fish. I am moving in 3 months and am just praying that the bigger guys I got now don't die. This will be a lot easier when I get a house and then I will be looking for the good reactions!
