I used kitchen shears and chopped them into a cup of water to rinse the crap off of them. The shears always cut all the way through.

get a better pair of scissors

i use a small tupperware container, add an inch of water, chop like crazy, then dump the bloody water in the sink b4 adding the chopped worms to the tank.

I think maybe my scissors are too beefy ... but you guys don't have that problem where the worms go all thick after you cut and squirm and freak out? God it's annoying. I can't wait to slap chop them.

How big of pieces are you cutting them into? When I go fishing, I just pinch them into pieces as I hook them.
