Really? How can you spout "fish ethics" when you are feeding another LIVE fish to your Dempsey. Aren't goldfish...fish? Or is the ethics good only so far up the fishy food chain. And please don't go on about fish eating fish in the wild. The fish isn't in the wild...and they don't eat goldfish where they live.
And for the record, there is a product called Hypno that works well. Oil of clove is fine, but not as quick as the hypno.
You have a vary valid point, as I stated, she never really took to feeders, I do not feed them to her any more. Please understand that when I said ethics, I was referring to a dying fish, that is suffering and there isn't anything left to do but to let it down. As I have stated before, I was.worried that it had a pictus catfishes barb lodged in her throat, and that if it came to that I would need to know how to ethically put her down. Also if feeder goldfish were a matter of ethics I'm sure there would be a lot less stores that sell them.
