A friend of mine got his mind set on these snakeheads (Channa Maculata) that the Chinese supermarket was selling, but the guys didn't want to sell the live fish to him. Needless to say, he applied for a job, got the job, hammered two snakeheads up their heads, raced home ....and here's the result

Not hard enough or they will die. I just made them look dead as the manager or supervisor or my co-worker won't allow live fish to be carred out of the store. It's their policy not to sell to the customer alive. They need to be killed before they are sold. I manage to get them alive for my collection. Next will be channa argus.

haha amazing. Just one more thing... MORE PICTURES!
Also I saw on your other thread that you are living in BC, what is the status of snakeheads there?
Here in Ontario you cannot have ANY part of a snakehead dead or alive.
Also any sort of goby is also banned...

Yep, I had to put it over here, way too MFK story to not be shared :D ...well done Earl.

By the way, there's a Channa Barca available here in Montreal ;)

Are you sure it's a 100% c. barca? They are the rarest snakehead in the hobby. They could be just c. aurantimaculata as they both look closely alike. PM me some pics and the price I might be interested.

I'm post some more pics very soon once they heal up and start to settle in.

Snakeheads are legal here in BC.
