Yap the fish look veru similar to one on the pics. I know what a c. striata look like and I also have a 3x c. striata in my tank.

The reason why they look like the head is flattened and the eyes were big because they were hit on the head. I bought 3 more without hitting the head. I just bag them up and payed for them and rush out and went to the washroom and add some water.

So I finally got aresponse from the OntarioMinistry of the Environment and this is whatthey sent me regardingpossession of snakeheads in Ontario:
"Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Itis illegal to possess live invasive fish including: round goby,tubenosegoby, grass carp, bighead carp, black carp, silver carp, rudd,ruffe andany species of snakehead. If any of these species
are caught they should be destroyed and not released back into any waters.
Under the Canadian Fisheries Act;
"fish" includes
(a) parts of fish,
(b) shellfish, crustaceans, marine animals and any parts of shellfish, crustaceans or marine animals, and
(c) the eggs, sperm, spawn, larvae, spat and juvenile stages of fish, shellfish, crustaceans and marine animals;
As you can see possession of snakehead or any part of them is illegal in Ontario.

That video of the Barca is an old one, Probably not the actual fish available. Is that $4000 US. I would ensure you see pictures of the actual fish before spending the cash.

Here are the pics of the snakehead that I got, and it's not a channa strita. It could be channa maculata or channa argus, but I lean toward more on channa maculata.
Please give a proper ID.
Maybe a male as it got a slender body and with bigger wider head. It got a 3 layer spots.
Maybe a female. It got a pointer head and very chubby. The patterns is also different. The spots is much bigger, and it only got a two layer spots.
