Ghost Knife.
Favorite fish; they all have a unique, weird personality - like floating upside down in a bubble flow. It's better for some because they don't get quite as big. They look really elegant when they swim, completely vertical, skimming the top of the waters surface with their mouth looking for food. I think they look nicer too, but that's just me...

Update on my Ghost Knife!
He's been doing great and loves brine shrimp and blood worms. However, he stays inside his little plastic see through tube all day long until I turn out the lights. He's still pretty cool though. He swims just as retarded as I've always heard lol and I love it.
However, this morning I woke up and he seemed pale. He's gained his black color back now but he got pretty white this morning. I'm doing a few changes in my tank with new plants and what not but it just seemed weird.
Do they do that when they get stressed?

Go with what you have room for and what you like. Most fish can be Monster in their own way. I consider my betta in his little tank just as much a monster as my pacu. Not in size but in attitude. And angels are not dainty fish. They can be terrors in their own right.
They do get stressed. I found that my BGK does not like the 'clear tubes' he has two large hollow logs (1 is 10 inches long and the other is 14 - both heavy plastic with big knotholes in the sides).
I tried the 'ghost tube' but he would have none of it. He moves from one log to the other depending on whether the living room curtains are open or not. They don't like direct light as they come from areas where the water is murky.
At any sign of trouble - water change first - then see how it goes.

Though they can be ick magnets, I Like the Black Ghost Knife better! I find the clown knife plain looking, and gets very very 4ft long big =S Black Ghost knife Looks very trippy when swimming like itz raving, and is related to electric eel i think which makes it cool!!! =^___^=

Remove the plastic tube and get more driftwoods or buy him some cave of some sort. Water change can benefit from this too.
