this would be my choice
1 palmas polli,1 del.,1 seg 2x ropefish, 1x Leopard Bush Fish,1x leaf fish, 2 clown loaches, african butterfly fish, albino african clawed frog

I'm not sure if an African clawed frog would work in this kind of tank... I know I shouldn't be laughing, but the thought of a African clawed frog trying to eat a ropefish would be a funny, but sad sight. Rope fish are not cheap however. I think I might pass on the ACF but I do like the other suggestions.

Oh, and the Clown Loaches... they need to be in groups of at least 3 right? I think that might overcrowd my tank a little. I do like the look of the bushfish however.

African butterfly-Pantondon bucholzi
African Knifefish-Xenomystus nigri
Congo tetra-Phenacogrammus interruptus
sounds like a good list to pick from for me

mine are going live with a fire eel, bgk, pike livebearers and a stunted spotted gar. plus two thread fin acaras for now

This is what I have in my 75 hahaha

2 12" endlicheri
1 12" lapradei
1 10" weeksi
1 10" ornate
1 7" senegal

5 datnoids
8" synaspilus
8" rtc/ paroon hybrid
6" mono peacock bass

A African tank is cool I have some I seperated fish from africa into regions west, central and Riftlake all have spiny eels of africa and knife fish from africa and I seperated my bichirs by size and have all the lower jaws togeather.

All right, I think I know what I want... Ya'll just tell me how many of each:ROFL:
Senegal Bichir
African knife fish
Leopard Bushfish
And MAYBE African Butterfly fish. Big Maybe!
How many of each should I put in there. I'm kinda confused about the knife fish. I've heard that they do well in groups and I've also heard that they do well by themselves... Which one is it? I don't want a depressed knife fish, and yet, I don't want them tearing each other up. Just give me some #s for each fish. Thanks!
