Nope, final answer is ornate, if you focus on the finlets its has more that a teug.
That thing screams ornate to me, I don't know the precise ID characteristics but the patterns give it away Imo.

How can you tell in that photo the difference in ornate pattern vs a teug pattern? Bade color looks identical to a teug, not the black and gold that we always see.

It amazes me how tough these fish are, to survive collection, storage, and shipping under those conditions. I suppose it shouldn't though, given the millions of years they've been on the planet.

I guess it's too much to hope those fisherman are at least making a decent living, given the serious prices these fish command?

I have never seen a teug pic where the fish has patterned front fins too. Although could be either
