Bichir tankmates

i haven't tried that mix but i do have a green terror with mine. I think most cichlids will work as long as they are close in size to avoid predation.
 
Another really cool option that also looks prehistoric is a red wolf fish, I currently have too and they are definitely good tank mates. They are still a bottom dweller though. I agree that SA cichlids are also a good option but can only be in a 75-100 gallon for a little while as they will outgrow it, same as an atf.

Damn does fish look nice. Gotta research more on these fish. They get to 8" right? Would they be good with a 15"+ endli or ornate? Still need to check the availablity at the lfs huhu

They get to about 8-10". IMO they would be fine with a 15" endli or ornate, I currently have my 4" and 6" red wolf's with a 12" ornate and 9" senegal with no problems. The wolf are tough and aggresive, but so is an ornate. I think this would be nicest in your 75, but it will be a harder fish to locate at a lfs, you may need to import it depending on what it is like in your area.

Alright! Those fish look great. Im gonna try to look for a red wolf fish first, If I cant find one, I'd do the severum or geo. Yup I shouldve bought a larger tank by then. Thanks!

Are they really aggressive? And do they like to come out? Cause I was looking for a fish that would maybe entertain people while my bichirs are hiding lol. Sounds good tho. Yea I dont think Ive ever seen one at any shop. But I'll try to look for one. Those look really cool.
