Whats funny is I had never heard of Blood Parrots until I found this forum. I wanted to raise a Jardini initially. The research on this site pointed to Blood Parrots as something tough enough yet not capable of doing damage to my "star". The Jardini went for a carpet ride and the Parrot remains. I raised the Parrot. The only Hybrid I own. I am committed to her health. I will rehome her but only because I want to make room for more Dats which are now my primary.

So thanks MFK for introducing me to the BP. I actually have enjoyed her the past couple of years. I hope by moving her along to the right home I can mantain the Kharma she has brought my tank.

they are not ever the true parrot they have just stole the name off another fish

you put it in the tank as a punch bag for the jar that just goes to show how much respect you had for it

no one has respect for this junk parrot if they did you wouldn't get people cutting the tails off dyeing them or tattooing them you don't see that happening to tigers how many tigers to you see that have had things done to them just to make a extra buck

the way they even swim makes me sick wobble wobble in the water

yes i do have issues with the nasty wobbly tropical gold fish if there was on fish i could wipe out completely it would be the parrot fish

what is a parrot fish natural environment o sorry they don't have one

Your theory is incorrect. Some people cut up VERY expensive rays in order to try to make hearts, stars, batmans, etc. Jardinis are respected fish also, and some are dyed to look like asian aros.

Very strange your comment about rays being cut when I said that over 5 years ago people lol me off the forum now people have been into rays for a year or two know about them being cut up

I'm not really into rays yet, but I've been studying about them for years. I remember seeing pics of cut up rays about that long ago.

Well like I said I told people years ago that rays were being cut to look like batman rays yes some rays are born with a batman deformity but so are being cut to look like batman rays as they are worth more only in Asian the rest of the world don't bother with them

As for a jar being dyed to look like a Asian I have never Sean or Hurd of that before care to share some pics

AQUABID is the biggest rip off on the planet its so bad i dont even know why people use it

if you know anything about Asian aros there is NO way you could get a jar mixed up with a Asian aro
