Big fish are BACK

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You are rightthat some of the fish we save we treat poorly. How ever we need to be carefull what we say about these topics. The do gooders are every where and looking for what divides the people of this hobby. They then write internet articles carefully twisting our words until we begin to turn on each other. Probably even 10 years ago the scene at the lfs would not of upset you as it did now. It is not your fault we are slowly being weaned away from our hobby by these groups who do not beleive animals should be owned. The guy who owned those Balas did a good job he raised them to full size. In reallity how many can say that. Most people are lead to beleive they ae a 30 gallon tank fish which is not true. We need education about our fish but lets do it on our terms not as regulations caused by the do gooders.

With the political atmosphere in the US anyway, animal rights have lost some footing for the good and bad.

I am sorry Dan I never responded to you last page good to hear there are no regulations there. I was misinformed I guess.

Did anyone consider sending the author of the article an email with their thoughts?

I'm more worried about the Discus the people are eating in the Amazon ! Some parts have certain Cichlids and Discus pretty close to being gone forever because of too much eating and building near the Amazon.
