no substance but if you want you can put pavers inside i did that in my pond, makes it look legit.

You are now pushing >2,500 gallons? Does the 3-5W/gallon heater apply here? The electric bill will skyrocket.

2500 that's great. And yes will still have a heater in it. Also does any one know we're to buy a 1000 watt heater.

Will this pond be well insulated? I suggest you use at least two 1,000W titanium heaters (like this) just in case the dreaded horror happens. You can also ask the Pond section (but most of the time it is a barren ghost town) or you can search for old threads there for the heater.

Why not just go catch florida gar and largemouth bass in a river? There both plentiful in fl I catch them all the time

2 1000wt heaters Ok. Will look around for them let me know if you found any.

Just did the calculation and the pond will be 3,231 gallons
