i'd have to say the jag as well...however u can never tell with RD's...my umbee destroyed a 10" jag!! within seconds!! and thats why i got rid of him..cichlids are just wicked fish..!! hehe nice pics btw!

Thank you.. yep i am definitly not taking any CHANCES.. wow all these stories..The RD is much more agressive according to all i hear..and deadlier..

He is 10.5 inches..but of course he is solid too.. where the jag is slim and trim at 11 inches, nice that you have Jags..do you have them in the same tank..and all is well.. I am growing up a baby Jag as well and i have to say he is turning out to be my real pet.. i have this total affection for him.. he is so responsive to me coming up to the tank.. he seems like he would wag his tail if he had one... i like them all but this baby is my little special guy or girl..not sure yet>>

Im betting on the Jag... just looks cooler
