Sprungster, thats a great EBJD. Thats what breeders should aim for.
 
Love ebjd's and you guys have some nice ones. Wish I had a place to put a little one in to grow out, and unfortunately no one seems to sell them at sizes over 3 inches. Anyway's I digress from my self pity(Lol!) and again compliment you guys on some great looking fish.

We have a deformed regular jd the spine is crooked have had it over 1 year was older when we got the thing never grew till we put in our 230. We also have an ebjd it is about 1 year and is around 5 inches I have heard it said they grow slow are geneticly weak and usualy don't reach full size.
 
I have also heard it is rare to raise a female ebjd to maturity as they are even weaker than the males is that true or just hear say because we are not sure what ours is does'nt have the long fins like a male.
