Actually, it's about 5 1/4". You don't count the caudal fin when you measure fish unless you're saying TL.

And...Fish markets measure differently than aquariums measure differently than LFS measure differently than grocery stores measure differently than Marine Biology classes measure differently than charter boats etc etc etc...and throw in all the different ways those same places do it in other countries and its a cluster#$%^...So theres not just one way to measure a fish.
