I'm looking for the biggest fish I can put in a ten gallon. I have another ten gallon with one gourami, four corydora, and 4 neon tretras.

I was looking into Cichlids, but I want a more of a agressive looking fish..

Any ideas?:screwy:

The "biggest" littleest cichlid will be the Convict cichlid....You can , and eventually will, breed a pair of convicts in a 10g....The Convict cichlid holds all the attitude and punch that MOST monster cichlids do.....Plus, it will introduce you to the world of cichlid breeding much safer than those who have started off with larger ones.....A pair of COnvict cichlid will cost under $10.........Feeding is simple:SMALL size Hikari Color Enhancer pellets, and the occasional traet of bloodworms, tubifix worms, or brine shrimp...........

I don't know about a 10 gallon, but maybe a South American Leaf Fish. If by "agressive" you mean predatory, that would be great.

ive seen some of those south american leaf fish and they boring lol
if you do get swordtails, they are active and in 2-3 months, your 4 will be 30+ hehe

They need a bigger thank then a ten gallon, maybe get away with a 20 breeder or something.

I would avoid anything South American as they often grow quite large. Try to find dwarf African Cichlids if you really want cichlids. In my ten gallon I have 5 neon tetra, an African Dwarf Frog and two corydoras catfish.
