My biggest is 11" at the moment at 2 years old, but the biggest i've seen was 2 weeks ago.
I went to visit Veldthuis Aquariums Builders in Enschede, the Netherlands and found a tank with some RTC, Pacus and this monster:

I didn't have a ruler, and i was so stupid to forget to place something in the picture to compare it's size to, but i suspect this one to be 15" the least.
If you live in Holland and get near Enschede, i say check it out and see for yourself.

If my fish were to get to this size, my 180Gl would not be big enough to hold the 2 O's i have.
And advising a 55Gl wouldt be ridiculous indeed!

mines about 7 inches.
