Biggest small mouth bass you've ever caught?

I just started the first high school bass team in the state of new hampshire. I'm captain. Have our first tournament in september. My father and I will be teaching a curriculum for enviromental stuff and polution and more to students. It really bothers me when I see people taking the bass they catch. People need to get smarter lol.

That's just your opinion about to or to not harvesting a trophy sized fish. Nobody fishes in same way as you do and not all anglers are catch and release only. I would be concerned about eating skinny fish with no meat on them...these ones I would either released them or using them as fertilizers.

That's why there are limits and size slots existed in fishing regulations. Not all lakes are same and some lakes don't allow the harvesting on bass while other lakes increased the numbers of limit that the anglers can take home.

I absolutley will. People are ruining it for my generation and when I have kids it will be ruined for theirs for sure. I want to fix it before its to late. I drive around and see all this trash and junk on the sides of the roads and near water and in water! People dont understand how this kills the enviroment! A freaking cigarette takes 75-100 years to break down in the water.

Why harvest a trophy sized fish? Why not release it and let it grow to be even bigger?

Like you? It really bothers me that someone made a rude judgment about a person that you don't know because he was keeping bass for fish fry?

Its your personal choice. You cannot push your beliefs into someone's throat because he/she don't fish the same way as you do. As my best friend once said "Just fish your own ice hole"

I'm not pushing my beliefs in peoples throats. My goal is simply to inform people that its not the right thing to do.
