Bio Spira does not work

I dont believe what I just did..I just wasted my money again..I set up a brand new tank last month and put Bio Spira in..It did not work so I was out $24.00 the cost of Bio Spira.. Then last week, I went to the store and bought it again and it did not wok, I was out $48.00 ..Then today, I bought it again, and it did not work; I was out $72.00!!I know sometimes, Bio Spira comes in bad batches and it does not work..My local LFS owner told me about this also...The LFS used to carry it but they had a bad batch of Bio Spira and the company rep from Bio Spira suppose to come and replace them but they never did..So what the LFS owner told me is that Bio Spira does not stand behind their product..I know in some cases, Bio Spira will work and sometimes it will not..It is just by luck that you will get a potent packet of Bio Spira..I would say it is a flip of a coin on where you bought it at and how viable the packet of Bio Spira is..But for me, I am not going to waste my money anymore on this product..I am not a gambaling man..I have to take my losses..

It comes to a big suprise because, I bought the Bio Spira in different stores and it all ended up wasting my money..
 
how do you know that the pack you bought today didn't work? You have to give it some amount of time you know. Also make sure you have fish in the tank at the time you introduce bio-spira. you won't get readings in 24 hrs and you can't clean filters. Also make sure if you have a UV filter that it's off when you put it in.

I had fishes in my tank ever since last month..My tank is not cycling properly that is why I put Bio Spira in..I have an ammonia reading and I have no nitrites and no nitrates and it has been a month..

I dont want to stress my fishes so I want the tank to cycle..That is why I use Bio Spira..

Yes they did have it cold and there is carbon in my filter but in the past, I used it with carbon and Bio Spira did work in my previous tanks...I dont think carbon is the problem as what the directions of Bio Spira states in the back..

Yes, I tried that before..Like I got the Fluval internal filter which was established and I put it in the new tank and guess what happened? All the bio media in that internal filter turned red like there was some serious ammonia burn in that bio media once it was in the new tank for a week..That is the first time I seen that happen where all the good bacteria got zonked..
 
I worked at a LFS for over a year and can vouch for you. Bio Spira sucks...plain and simple.
