When you catch probably the biggest fish of ur life you probably wont realize that.. just like me.. until like 10 minute after we relaesed him on my next cast.. i realized my hands were torn up and bleeding..
My dad had pirahna and they seemed scared to bite us? You could even touch thier sided and kinda scratch them? From what ive seen they arent very aggresive..
lol everyone... Well I wanna hear some dramatic bites.. I have a feeling Im going to get bit by my piranhas soon.. I have my camera right by the tanks to. Now I think about it, my Oscar bit my mom when she was feeding him... It drew blood on her finger!!! Poor mother.
I've got quite a bit of oscars around.. the 2 incher nibbles, but the bigger ones i got that's an albino red that's about 5inch only, it does hurt, but it's like something scratching u hard, no blood yet, but leaves a red mark for awhile!!
My oscars got me a few times while i was cleaning. He's 8 inches didnt hurt just startled me with a lil pucker factor. Not to mention he launched out the tank on my dad one day while he fed him some pellets. Needless to say both learned their lesson!!!! Im sure that had a HELL of a pucker factor!!
i have had my 10'' oscar bit me when i was cleaning his tank it drew blood and hurt.
he jumps at the lid on the tank when i leave the fish food on the top. my other 8'' oscar swims at the glass trying to eat the smaller fish in the tank next to him. My other 3'' oscar has jump out of the tank at me a couple of times when i am trying to feed him.

When I had my Chinese Perch he bit me twice. He was 5 inch or so and the 1st time was a shock, I wasnt paying attention and in a split second I see the fish zoom at my hand and clamp down on my finger. It didnt REALLY hurt, but it was a good bite. No blood or anything. But it had a little red mark and made my finger feel weird for a little bit. Pretty big bite for a fish of that size. It made me wonder how the feeder fish felt.
After that I had to be careful, I was always reluctant to put my hands in because the fish always charged at my hand. So the trick was to enter my whole hand or arm quickly so the fish recognized it as not food.
