black diamond batman pup!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't think so. I thought the downside with the batman rays were that they easily got out competed against for food because of the lack of a front disc portion.

So the owner may need to spend more time with it, feeding it by hand/tongs to ensure he's getting fed

Is there proof of them dying young:screwy:

no but that dosent mean its not possible. cava is a very able ray keeper and breeder and if anyone can do it he and/or fbf will be able to with their bats. as most batmans usually get sent off to the highest bidder but then that highest bidder isnt the best fish keeper.

in the wild they get out competed and the middle catches on things so this makes the adult hood thing almost impossible. but in captivity a bb tank with no deco and good keepers should give them the best chance possible.

so good luck to you cava!

Maybe this would be a good time to start a batman thread to find out just how many are out there, how many motoros, leos, bds, etc. How old are they, sizes....and everyone post pics of their batman with their details. Might be a good reference point for all of us with batman rays to help us keep them successfully.

And Jeffers...thanks for the vote of confidence. :) We are doing our best to keep Batgirl happy & healthy. Those first few weeks were nerve racking, getting her to start eating and making sure she was going to make it so we feel your pain cava.

damn!! that is a nice batman

I have seen FBF in person... SPEECHLESS!
I have now seen CAVA's......SPEECHLESS!

which means they are both badda** rays, and goodluck cava.

FBF that is a great idea to make a thread on all the batman & batgirl rays out there!!

Could/should be a sticky!!! haha congrats cava!
