hi guys, thanks for the really kind comments.. i wasn't expecting something like that so it's a real surprise... i assure you that this boy came as is, and is not the product of some extreme surgical procedure..
cute as he may be, he's an utter klutz when it comes to getting his food, and i mean that in endearment
, so it means that i've had to up the ante in terms of providing care to this special ray..

That is exactly what I meant and why I wasn't sure if they were made by man. I'm glad to see that is a natural thing, but it pisses me off to no end when I see the rays that have been cut by someone trying to recreate a natural bat ray.
Congrats on your pick up. I myself am not a Fan of this look but to each their own 
I always thought they were 100% man made. Thats pretty neat how thats the only part that has birth defects (ie: if it was born with the batman look backwards etc..)
