Black mark on my flowerhorn

Pls help ?. My flowerhorn has some black ring on his head. I'm changing 75% of water every 2 days but still no effect! It's been 4 days since he got this disease! Pls tell me what disease it is and also the right treatment!

Looks more like a heater burn.

Looks like he gave himself a nasty scrape on his dome. I would dose some aquarium salt to help prevent it from getting infected and just keep up with the water changes.

Btw what is your tank's temperature since your not using a heater? Also what size tank is it in? It looks really small but that could just be the angle of the pic.

May be it was out of the water when fish was on top.
