I remember Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, that's where I proposed to my wife :)
Shark Aquarium is in NJ and it's a vendor here as well. George is the owner but you can call him G for short. he has some small pirayas in now, $125 each i think.

Love that place, went on a behind the scenes tour there last month. Turns out the salt they use in their tanks is a secret blend that they guard closely. lol

yeh that place is nice. $125 is high. fml when it comes to prices of fish. ok, here is the new plan. some of us get together. make a whole room of tanks. then, lets go to the amazon, fishing poles in hand. we'll catch these 17" rhoms and **** like nothing - ship em back, and sell them. yep - thats it. ok, n e takers for a week long amazon fishing trip? also need people who know how to ship fish!. oh and a doctor - so many things that can kill down there =\

Great options we have eh? Either drop triple digit on a fish or buy them small and grow them out for 5 years just to get them to 10 inches.

you can always email G to see when he'll get small ones in.

Ill let you help me shop for fish when it comes time for me to replace them. Hopefully that will be in 5+ years. Really depends on what fish in the shoal die first.
