They'll look amazing! So far, I've noticed that the LJ bichirs don't look very good on black sand but the UJ look amazing!

If you wanted to you could probably keep both, but for looks I would only recommend Upper Jaws as they look better on black sandDang, with all the positive responses I already ordered almost $200 of This

This is my tank. White sand and blue back ground I have had many color fish (peacocks, severums, clown loaches) in there and they looked great. It did wash out my GT and frontosas. I currently have naturally lighter color fish.

+1 my 135 is 6'x18" and I kept mainly LJ bichirs. My largest was 18" though so if I had any bigger than that, I would've gone out for a tank with a better footprint
