what is the demand like for a fish like this? Could I possibly grow it out a bit then sell it because as much as I know I should get rid of it could I grow it out to about a foot and a half then sell it?

The Amazon is not brackish. Even 50 miles out to sea it is still freshwater (!!)

And it's definitely an Arapaima...

HAHA, that thing will only last like 3 months before it outgrows both of your tanks....
you could sell it for quite a bit though. maybe around 150-250 dollars when it's 12-18 inches long.

Well in the next couple of months I was planning on getting a 10x3x3 tank for my arowanas so I could grow it out a bit more in there before selling it couldnt I?
